Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and disciplined Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our new business growth initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry. This entry level sales role is centered on proactive outreach, with a strong emphasis on high-volume outbound calling to identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients. The ideal candidate demonstrates resilience and professionalism with a strong commitment to achieving measurable results. WORK SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8a-5p. WORK LOCATION: On-site in Kendall area (near MetroZoo/Zoo Miami).

Duties

Reach out to potential clients through outbound calls, introducing our products and services with confidence and clarity
Identify and qualify new business opportunities based on established criteria
Engage decision-makers in value-focused conversations to assess needs and determine potential fit
Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat channels
Provide exceptional customer support by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, data entry, and sales activities using Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems
Follow up with prospects and clients to nurture relationships, close sales, and ensure satisfaction
Demonstrate strong phone etiquette and communication skills to build trust and rapport with diverse customers
Analyze customer feedback and sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Consistently meet or exceed high volume weekly and monthly KPIs and pipeline development targets
Collaborate with sales and leadership to refine outreach strategies and messaging

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
Proficiency in leveraging Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams) and CRM platforms for basic technical skills, data entry and analysis
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator
Prior experience in outbound sales, customer support, telemarketing, or a similar role is a plus
Strong verbal communication skills and confidence in conducting phone-based outreach
Clear voice diction and great conversational skills in English
Attention to detail and capable of multitasking efficiently
Demonstrated ability to handle objections professionally and persist through challenges
Highly organized with the ability to manage a large volume of daily activities
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ability to meet weekly/monthly goals
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Demonstrated problem-solving skills in customer service scenarios with a focus on client satisfaction
Ability to type quickly and accurately while maintaining focus during calls or data entry tasks

Success Indicators

Achievement of call volume, conversation, and meeting-set targets
Development of a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities
Demonstrated resilience, determination, and a strong work ethic

Base salary starting at $35K-$45K plus commission; annual earning potential first year $60K-$75K. Benefits include dental, medical, vision, and paid time off.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
