About the Riviera Country Club

Located in the prestige and historic City of Coral Gables, the tradition of the Riviera Country Club since its inception in 1945 has been to provide a second home to its large family of members. We have a proud history recognized for excellence, prestige and fun in all our areas of Dining, Golf, Aquatics and Tennis. We offer a fresh approach to luxury and personalized service. Successful Riviera Country Club candidates will be offered a great opportunity, in personal and professional growth.

The Riviera Country Club is interested in hiring professional & responsible, service-oriented for our Kitchen staff. The Riviera Country Club is in search of Full-Time Baker to join our team and help facilitate needs within the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

· Prepare bakery in accordance with club recipes and standards.

· Prepare all required items and sets up service units with needed items.

· Assists the Executive Chef in maintaining the security and safety in the kitchen.

· Maintains a neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.

· Sets-up, maintains and breaks down prep cook station.

· Requisitions items needed to produce menu items and notifies Executive Chef of expected shortage.

· Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations.

· Coordinates and times orders with other kitchen operations.

· Assists with other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef.

Qualifications:

· Experience as a Baker required.

· Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules a must.

· The candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule.

· Multi-tasking abilities.

· Good oral communication skills.

· Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.

· The candidate will be required to complete both a Food Handlers Certification and Responsible Vendors Certification.
