AP & AR Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized AP & AR Clerk to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes efficiently. The ideal candidate will handle financial data entry, maintain accurate records, and support the overall bookkeeping functions of our finance team. This role requires proficiency in spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, and financial software, along with experience in accounting and finance to ensure timely processing of transactions and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Duties

Process and monitor accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collections.
Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, verifying expenses, and preparing payments.
Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions using spreadsheets and accounting software.
Perform data entry tasks related to financial activities with high accuracy.
Support bookkeeping activities by reconciling accounts and maintaining organized financial documentation.
Handle confidential financial information with discretion and professionalism.
Utilize financial software to record, track, and report on financial data efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Skills

Strong proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy.
Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and accounting principles.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Familiarity with financial software used for accounting purposes.
Basic understanding of finance and accounting concepts to support daily operations effectively.
