About this position

Creates a supportive and energizing environment where community members can volunteer their time and talents in meaningful opportunities thereby creating a successful volunteer program supporting patients, families, and staff. Leads the day-to-day workflow of department operations including recruitment, onboarding processes, placement and volunteer scheduling. Actively and consistently demonstrates the mission, vision and values of North Memorial Health.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Bachelor's degree in social services, human resources or other applicable field preferred

Experience

Experience

Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with volunteers, including recruitment, placement, scheduling, and engagement
Experience coordinating office operations, records, and administrative workflows
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a team environment
Experience interacting effectively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds
Experience using volunteer management systems (e.g., Volgistics, Volunteer Works, or comparable platforms) preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including public-facing and professional correspondence
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows–based systems, including:
Microsoft Outlook (email, calendars, scheduling)
Microsoft Word (documents, reports, correspondence)
Microsoft Excel (basic data entry, tracking, and reporting)
Microsoft Teams (communication and collaboration)
Ability to learn and effectively utilize databases and scheduling software
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain accurate records
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining responsive to changing departmental needs
Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

Salary Range: N15 ($24.63 - $36.94), based on experience

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.

Employment Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
