About us

T.E.C. Industrial, Inc. is a growing precision machining and fabrication company in Rochester, MN. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality parts and solutions to our customers while providing a rewarding work environment for our employees.

We are seeking a CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and motivated to produce top-quality work.

Responsibilities

Operate Haas CNC mills and turning centers to produce precision components.
Make minor program edits and setup changes at the console (G-Code experience preferred).
Interpret blueprints, prints, and documentation to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.
Select, align, and secure cutting tools, fixtures, and materials.
Verify first article conformance to specifications and make adjustments as needed.
Perform in-process inspections to ensure consistent quality.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety and environmental policies, including proper use of PPE and material handling.
Collaborate with supervisors to resolve machining or production issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Knowledge of measurement techniques and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
G-Code familiarity (preferred).
Programming or setup experience (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to grow with the company.
