Financial Analyst

Location: Confidential

Position Summary

A leading luxury hospitality and lifestyle company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support its Finance team with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This role will play a key part in providing financial insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Prepare and support the monthly financial presentation for senior leadership.
Maintain and update the annual operating budget across all business units.
Prepare, maintain, and monitor quarterly financial forecasts, incorporating operational and business trends.
Analyze monthly financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and providing meaningful recommendations.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Collaborate with department leaders to gather financial data and improve budget accuracy.
Develop financial models and perform ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Assist with cash flow analysis, expense monitoring, and profitability reporting.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across reporting systems.
Support annual audit activities by preparing schedules and providing requested documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, controls, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, or Public Accounting.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is preferred (SAGE, VELIXO, Toast, Craftable)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
Hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, or real estate industry experience is considered a plus.

Preferred Skills

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Strong financial modeling and variance analysis capabilities.
Ability to prepare executive-level financial presentations.
Highly collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
