Full Job Description

Job Summary

At McFarland Neuropsychology, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to patients with neurodiverse presentations, mental health concerns, brain injuries, and neurodegenerative conditions. We are passionate about improving patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments and therapeutic support, and are in the process of an exciting new expansion of services. We are looking for a new team member to help ensure a smooth and supportive experience for all our patients and to play a critical role in our clinic expansion.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, managing all aspects of front office administration.
Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and directing calls with excellent phone etiquette.
Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining patient records, facilitating billing, and handling confidential information with the utmost integrity.
Coordinate calendar management and scheduling for clinic team members.
Oversee office management tasks such as filing, data entry, maintaining office supplies, and organizing documents using spreadsheets and productivity software.
Handle bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks to support invoicing, payroll, and expense tracking.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in a medical office, behavioral health, or clinical setting is preferred. We may consider exceptional candidates who do not have experience in these areas.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
Strong problem-solving abilities and an ability to adapt quickly to new administrative systems.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
A background in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field is a plus.
