POSITION TITLE: Advisor

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt | Salary | On-Site, Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Advisor plays a critical role in supporting Private Wealth Advisors and delivering comprehensive financial planning strategies for high-net-worth clients. In addition to supporting client relationships, Advisors manage a defined base of clients directly, ensuring consistent and proactive communication and helping clients adapt to changes in their financial lives. This role combines preparation and analysis of financial strategies with the opportunity to gradually build a personal client base, positioning Advisors to progress toward a Private Wealth Advisor role.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support Private Wealth Advisors in managing client relationships and executing financial planning strategies.

· Gather client data, develop comprehensive analyses, and prepare meeting materials, reports, and action items across insurance, investments, estate planning, and tax.

· Proactively communicate with clients to identify changes in their financial situation and adjust strategies as needed.

· Manage a portion of client relationships (including C clients) with consistency and care, building trust and long-term engagement.

· Prepare and deliver client reports, presentations, and financial analyses to support planning discussions.

· Collaborate with internal teams (planning associates, client service associates, portfolio managers) to ensure timely and accurate execution of strategies.

· Participate in business development by supporting prospecting efforts and gradually building a personal book of business.

· Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, firm policies, and industry standards.

· Commit to professional growth by developing expertise and leadership skills to advance into a Private Wealth Advisor role.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred

· Strong knowledge of financial planning

· Series 63 and Series 7 licensing required

· State of Missouri and local state life and health licensing required

· Excellent communication & critical thinking skills.

· Must be at least 21 years of age or older

· Legally authorized to work in the United States

· Ability to clear a criminal background check

· Minimal travel may be required for planning meetings and retreats.

LOCATION:

St. Louis, MO

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, Zoom, copy/fax, and smartphones.
