Our physicians are constantly researching and learning the newest therapies and surgeries available for all types of urologic and urologic oncologic diseases. Our doctors understand that learning never stops and thus they continue to open themselves to new treatment ideas and cutting-edge procedures.

3. Provide value to our community at large.

We at Urology Associates of Mobile understand that there is more that we can offer outside the doors of our practice. That is why a number of our physicians spend their time on a number of worthy causes from providing healthcare to the less privileged in third world countries to researching and teaching new urologic and oncologic therapies that could benefit the many.

We will continue to expand our services and staff in order to meet these goals.

Summary of Job:

Assist assigned provider with patient care during time of service and patient communication and results follow up after time of service

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Review, sign and maintain all clinical protocols as relayed by the Clinical Supervisor.

2. Ensure accurate documentation with a clear audit trail.

3. Complete patient chart prep for your assigned provider prior to visit as per UAMPA protocol.

4. At time of service, triage patients for assigned provider including obtained patient medical history medications and vitals as well as obtaining urine specimens when required as per UAMPA protocol.

5. Ensure MIPS compliance throughout the clinical workflow for your assigned provider as per UAMPA protocol

6. Complete clinical tasks assigned to your assigned provider as per UAMPA protocol.

7. Complete medication pre-authorizations for your provider as per UAMPA protocol.

8. Monitor ordered, pending, scheduled and returned tests & procedures for your assigned provider as per UAMPA protocol.

9. Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the UAMPA management team or physician partners.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

1. Required license: certified medical assistant or equivalent

Job Requirements:

1. Employee must be able to communicate clearly with patients.

2. Employee must be able to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time.

3. Employee must be able to be active and mobile for an eight hour period.

4. Knowledge of Allscripts is a plus
