Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Hostess Cashier, where you will be the friendly face welcoming guests and ensuring seamless dining experiences. In this vibrant role, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and handle cashier duties with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the reservation system to optimize seating flow
Coordinate table assignments and ensure efficient restaurant table management using POS systems such as Toast POS.
Handle guest inquiries via phone, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills
Process customer transactions accurately at the cashier station, including bill payments and order modifications using POS systems
Maintain organization of waiting lists, reservation logs, and guest seating charts to ensure smooth operations
Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness in the cashier area and guest service zones
Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

Proven experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment
Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems like TOAST POS
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and over the phone
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing registers
Familiarity with food safety protocols and hospitality standards to ensure guest well-being
Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently
Experience with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, along with serving or guest relations expertise
