Job Description
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be tasked with checking machine assignments and collaborating with operators from the previous shift to discuss machine performance and any challenges encountered. Your role involves producing parts on CNC machines according to specifications and ensuring they meet production requirements.
Responsibilities

Produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications and within acceptable production requirements.

Unload and package parts according to standards and customer requirements.

Complete accurate daily records including date, time, quantities of parts ran, and scrap for each job.

Follow instructions from documentation such as Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints.

Inform quality control, shift supervisor/lead person of any problems or concerns with parts.

Ensure the quality of products/services provided and perform inspections as per the Quality Manual.

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, report abnormal conditions to maintenance and/or supervisor.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area and comply with all 5S procedures.

Conduct all tasks safely, adhering to Safety Policies and PPE requirements.

Maintain all required documentation.
Essential Skills

Ability to read a tape measure.

Lift up to 75 lbs.

Stand on feet for 10+ hours a day.

Knowledge of hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Machine operation

Blueprint reading

1+ year of Machine Operator experience - CNC highly preferred.

Machining, including lathe and mill operations

Work Environment
This position offers a choice of 2nd or 3rd shift. The 2nd shift runs from 3 PM to 1:30 AM Monday through Thursday, and 3 PM to 8 PM on Fridays, totaling 45 hours per week. The 3rd shift operates from 9 PM to 6 AM Sunday to Thursday. A shift differential is provided for both 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will be part of a team of 130 people in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
