Regional Manager – Affordable Housing | Mt Laurel, NJ

Salary: $95,000.00 – $110,000.00 /year | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Hybrid + Regional Travel | Exempt

You’ll manage a regional portfolio, drive operational excellence, and mentor property leaders to deliver results that reflect Conifer’s mission and values.

What You Bring as a Regional Manager

You’re a strong communicator and a strategic thinker who leads with purpose. You bring:
5+ years of affordable housing management experience, including LIHTC, Section 8, or HUD compliance.
Solid experience with HUD 50059 is required.
2+ years of supervisory experience with training, performance management, and staffing.
Knowledge of budgets, NOI, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager experience preferred.
Certifications such as COS, LIHTC, or STAR preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
Flexibility for regional travel for site visits, inspections, and meetings.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Drive compliance – ensure readiness for LIHTC, HUD, and other agency inspections, while maintaining regulatory excellence.
Enhance performance – monitor KPIs including occupancy, collections, and NOI to ensure sustained success.
Promote teamwork and training – lead performance reviews, business plan preparation, and staff development initiatives.
Build relationships – engage with agencies, investors, and internal departments to strengthen collaboration and transparency.
