Job Description:

Janson Equipment Co. is a Case IH dealership with locations in Reese, Breckenridge, and Charlotte MI growing with Michigan farmers since 1939. Our mission is to be the best in class by respecting the needs and desires of all customers and employees in order to build lasting relationships by providing satisfaction through the complete knowledge of all equipment purchased with superior service, parts availability and sales expertise backed by honor, integrity and equality in all of our working relationships.

You'll be a great fit for our Ag Equipment Sales Representative position if:

· Have a passion for agriculture and enjoy building relationships with farmers and agricultural professionals.

· Have experience in agricultural equipment sales, farm operations, dealership sales, or a related industry.

· Are motivated by achieving sales goals and delivering solutions that create value for customers.

· Enjoy working independently, managing your territory, and building a strong customer base.

· Have strong communication skills and the ability to understand customer needs and recommend the right equipment solutions.

· Are comfortable prospecting for new business through customer visits, networking, referrals, and community involvement.

· Can learn and explain complex equipment features, technology, and productivity benefits.

· Are organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple customer opportunities at various stages of the sales process.

· Value teamwork and enjoy collaborating with parts, service, finance, and dealership teams to support customers.

· Are willing to continuously learn about our vendor’s products, precision agriculture technology, and evolving farming practices.

· Take pride in providing exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.

· Are committed to representing our dealership and brands with professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

What we expect from you on a day-to-day basis:

· Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, agricultural businesses, and commercial customers to understand their equipment needs and provide tailored solutions

· Sell new and used agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, planting equipment, tillage equipment, precision technology, and related products

· Provide expert guidance on equipment selection based on customer operations, budgets, and productivity goals

· Prepare sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and complete sales transactions while meeting company sales objectives

· Collaborate with service, parts, and financing teams to provide a complete customer experience

· Support customer retention efforts through ongoing communication and post-sale follow-up

· Monitor local market conditions and identify opportunities for sales growth.

· Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports

· Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the dealership and equipment brands professionally

· Assist customers with financing options, trade evaluations, and equipment upgrade opportunities

· Maintain knowledge of agricultural trends, farming practices, equipment technology, and competitive products
