Job Summary

We are seeking passionate and skilled Fine Dining Cooks to elevate the culinary experience in our upscale restaurant. As a Fine Dining Cook, you will be responsible for preparing exquisite dishes that meet our high standards of quality, presentation, and flavor. Your role is vital in delivering memorable dining experiences by expertly executing menu items with precision and creativity. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced, high-volume environment dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of fine dining dishes with attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
Follow established recipes and presentation standards meticulously to maintain the restaurant’s culinary integrity
Operate professional kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pots, poaching devices, and food preparation tools
Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative ideas that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to uphold health regulations and ensure a clean working environment
Manage food production during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of dishes without compromising quality
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, portion control, and plating for high-volume service periods

Experience

Proven experience working in fine dining establishments or upscale restaurants with a focus on high-quality food preparation
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and other advanced cooking methods
Demonstrated proficiency in food handling, safety management, and sanitation procedures within a professional kitchen setting
Experience in menu planning and recipe adherence to ensure consistency across all dishes served
Background in catering or large-scale meal production is advantageous
Skilled in operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Previous roles involving dietary department experience or dietary aide experience are beneficial for understanding specialized dietary needs
