Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Medical Assistant to join our team in Caldwell. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of patients and work in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The Infusion Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in the clinic by assisting in the administration of infusion therapy to patients. They are responsible for preparing equipment, monitoring patients during therapy, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist the nurse in administering infusion therapy to patients.

· Prepare and maintain infusion equipment and supplies.

· Monitor patients during infusion therapy and report any adverse reactions to the lead nurse.

· Educate patients and their families about infusion therapy procedures and care.

· Document patient information, including vital signs and infusion details, accurately and timely.

· Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Completion of a medical assistant program or relevant certification.

· Previous experience in infusion therapy or related field preferred.

· Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.

· BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
