Full Job Description

Pelican Isle Yacht Club is looking for a dedicated line cook.

We are a premier, platinum ranked private yacht club, located in beautiful Naples, FL.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Prep, set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Prepare ingredients for use during shift.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Ensure that food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures.
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment safely.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in a private club preferred, but not necessary.
- Ability to accommodate special requests.
- Familiarity with meal preparation for special events.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
