BARTENDER

We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender to anchor our bar program and deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate combines technical bartending expertise with genuine hospitality, crafting impeccable classic and signature cocktails while maintaining the elevated standards expected in a fine dining setting. This role requires deep beverage knowledge, precision, and the ability to engage guests with warmth and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present cocktails, wine, and beverages to exact recipe and presentation specifications
Set up and break down the bar, including stocking, garnish prep, and batching components for service
Engage guests at the bar with genuine hospitality, offering recommendations based on taste preferences
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the cocktail menu, wine list, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic offerings, including origins and tasting notes
Make thoughtful beverage and food pairing suggestions in coordination with the culinary and service teams
Check identification and adhere to all responsible alcohol service practices (monitor consumption, recognize and address intoxication)
Take and process beverage and food orders accurately for bar seating and tableside service as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service, including glassware, garnishes, and back bar
Ensure proper inventory levels; communicate par needs and assist with ordering and receiving
Conduct or assist with regular inventory counts and minimize waste/over-pouring
Collaborate with the Bar Manager/Beverage Director on seasonal menu development and new cocktail creation
Process payments accurately and manage tabs with discretion
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
Uphold a polished, professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the restaurant's standards
Participate in pre-shift briefings, tastings, and ongoing beverage training

SERVER

Our private members club is seeking a refined, attentive Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our members and their guests. You will be responsible for providing seamless, personalized service that reflects the highest standards of fine dining while honoring the discretion and familiarity that define a private club environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide gracious, attentive, and polished table service to members and guests, anticipating needs before they're voiced
Present menus, describe daily specials, and offer knowledgeable recommendations on food and wine pairings
Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders, communicating clearly with the kitchen and bar
Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen information
Deliver food and beverages in proper sequence, ensuring correct timing, temperature, and presentation
Maintain detailed awareness of member preferences, dietary restrictions, and special occasions to personalize service
Monitor tables proactively — refilling water, clearing courses, and checking in without being intrusive
Handle billing accurately, including member account charges, gratuities, and special billing arrangements
Uphold strict confidentiality and discretion regarding member identities, conversations, and club affairs
Set up and break down dining rooms, private event spaces, and side stations to club standards
Collaborate closely with hosts, kitchen staff, sommeliers, and management to ensure seamless service
Address member concerns or special requests promptly, escalating to management when appropriate

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of formal dining etiquette, table settings, and service sequence (e.g., French, Russian, or American service styles)
Working knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairing principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, professional demeanor
Strong memory and attention to detail, especially regarding member preferences and orders
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and grace
Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by club operations
Food handler certification and responsible alcohol service certification (as required by local jurisdiction)

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often 6–8+ hour shifts
Ability to lift and carry trays or items up to 30 lbs
Comfortable bending, reaching, and maneuvering in tight service areas

HOST

Our private members club is seeking a polished, personable Host to serve as the first and last point of contact for our members and their guests. This is more than a seating role — you are the ambassador of the club's culture, setting the tone for an exceptional, discreet, and elevated dining experience from the moment someone walks through the door.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly greet members and guests by name, embodying the club's standards of hospitality, discretion, and refinement
Manage reservations, waitlists, and floor plans using the club's reservation system, optimizing seating flow and table turns without compromising member experience
Escort members and guests to their tables, presenting menus and communicating any relevant information (e.g., private events, chef's specials, member preferences)
Maintain detailed knowledge of member profiles, preferences, dietary restrictions, and special occasions to personalize each visit
Coordinate closely with servers, management, and the kitchen to ensure smooth service and timely seating
Answer phone and email inquiries professionally, handling reservation requests, cancellations, and special requests
Uphold strict confidentiality regarding member identities, conversations, and club affairs
Manage the entrance and lobby area, ensuring it remains immaculate and welcoming at all times
Assist with coat check, private dining room coordination, and member escort to other club amenities as needed
Handle sensitive situations (overbooking, member complaints, VIP arrivals) with grace, tact, and sound judgment
