Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a versatile Team Member at the brand new, soon to be open: Black Label Burger Company! In this energetic role, you'll be an essential part of delivering exceptional food and service experiences. Whether you’re preparing delicious meals, managing customer orders at the register, or maintaining a clean and safe workspace, your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a lively and welcoming environment. This position offers opportunities to develop culinary skills, enhance customer service expertise, and thrive in a fast-paced food industry setting.

Duties (dependent on role)

Prepare high-quality food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
Operate a POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling
Manage customer orders with friendly service, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining area, and service stations
Process cash transactions accurately, and manage cash register operations
Assist with food safety management by following proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols
Support team members with bussing tables, sanitation tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of service during busy hours

Experience

Previous experience in restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations is highly desirable
Experience using POS systems is a plus
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours
Customer service experience demonstrating friendly communication and problem-solving abilities
Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or grocery store settings is advantageous
