Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, cakes, and confections with attention to detail and presentation
Decorate cakes and desserts using advanced cake decorating techniques to ensure visually stunning creations
Package finished products efficiently while maintaining quality standards for retail or catering purposes
Assist in food production and food preparation processes to support daily kitchen operations
Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing menu items
Support catering events by preparing desserts and baked goods that meet client specifications

Skills

Extensive pastry experience with a strong portfolio of baked goods and desserts
Proficiency in cake decorating techniques for various styles and themes
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Skilled in food production, food preparation, and kitchen operations within a fast-paced environment
Excellent knife skills for precise cutting, slicing, and shaping of ingredients
Experience in baking, cooking, and culinary arts within the food industry or restaurant settings
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
Capable of managing packaging processes efficiently while maintaining product quality
Familiarity with catering logistics and restaurant experience is highly desirable
