Client Strategy Lead – Education

Location: Hybrid – New York, NY (2–3 days per week on-site) Department: Client Services

We're a data-driven digital marketing agency headquartered in New York City. We build integrated, full-funnel media programs that turn audience insight into measurable outcomes for national and emerging brands — with a growing portfolio of clients across higher education, EdTech, and K–12.

The Role

The Client Strategy Lead (also known internally as Account Executive) is the primary strategic lead and day-to-day contact for a portfolio of education clients. You'll develop omnichannel media strategies built around enrollment cycles and program launches, provide strategic direction to cross-functional internal teams, and ensure every campaign aligns with performance targets and contractual commitments. You'll partner closely with admissions and marketing teams on the client side, especially through peak enrollment periods.

What You'll Do

Develop and present integrated media strategies across paid search, paid social, programmatic, affiliate, SEO, lifecycle, and emerging channels
Translate performance data into clear, actionable insights that guide optimization priorities and inform future planning
Serve as the primary strategic lead and relationship manager for assigned education clients — facilitating status meetings, planning sessions, and quarterly business reviews
Collaborate with planners and buyers; review deliverables for accuracy and strategic alignment
Oversee campaign performance against budgets, pacing, and KPIs; provide strategic guidance on forecasting and budget reallocation to maximize ROI, including around key enrollment windows
Identify and develop new business opportunities for our edu clients, preparing strategic business cases and proposals that connect client challenges to agency capabilities

What You Bring

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on media planning and buying experience, preferably within an agency environment
Experience with education clients — higher ed, EdTech, or K–12 — is a strong plus
Experience with university, college, or higher education clients is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing both client and internal team relationships
Advanced proficiency in paid search, paid social, and programmatic platforms; relevant certifications preferred
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to digest large data sets and create clear, executive-level narratives
Authorization to work in the United States and ability to commute to the New York office as required
