Full Job Description

Opportunity for growth within the company!

We are looking for a strong, energetic, and highly organized Salon Host to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced luxury salon environment, understands hospitality, and can keep the salon running smoothly at all times.

This is not just a front desk position — we are looking for someone who can actively manage the flow of the salon floor, anticipate team needs, and help create an exceptional client experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Act as the main host of the salon by maintaining awareness of everything happening on the floor at all times
Constantly check in with stylists to ensure services are running on time and assist when needed
Keep the salon phone with you at all times and respond promptly to calls, texts, and client inquiries
Manage appointments using Zenoti
Understand salon timing, double booking strategies, and how to maximize stylist schedules efficiently
Assist with client check-in and checkout, payment processing, confirmations, and rebooking
Prepare clients for services by offering beverages, capes, towels, and creating a welcoming luxury experience
Support stylists during services including shampooing, conditioning, blow-drying, preparing products, and maintaining clean stations
Maintain salon cleanliness and organization throughout the day
Help with retail recommendations and product sales
Assist with social media content creation, including recording before-and-after videos/photos, client transformations, and salon content
Support daily operations to ensure appointments run efficiently and the client experience stays seamless

Qualifications

Previous salon host, front desk, or hospitality experience required
We use Zenoti and are happy to train the right candidate, but strong booking and scheduling experience is required. Candidate must understand appointment flow, time management, double booking, and how to keep schedules running efficiently in a fast-paced salon environment.
Strong multitasking and communication skills
Ability to stay calm and organized in a high-volume environment
Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
Team player with a proactive mindset
Passion for the beauty industry and salon culture
Beauty school experience is a plus, but not required

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and naturally takes ownership of the environment around them. If you enjoy hospitality, beauty, teamwork, and fast-paced environments, we’d love to meet you.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
