Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Bookkeeper to join our premier construction firm. In this vital role, you will manage the company’s financial records, ensure accurate bookkeeping practices, and support our accounting team with essential financial tasks. Your expertise will help us maintain precise financial data, streamline accounting processes, and support our ongoing growth and success. Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Excel.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts regularly to ensure data accuracy.
Support payroll processing by verifying employee hours, calculating wages, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Assist with budgeting activities, financial report writing, and analysis of financial concepts to support management decision-making.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within the construction industry or related fields.
Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Excel; experience with multiple additional platforms is a plus.
Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
Familiarity with payroll processing systems and tax compliance procedures.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform account reconciliation and account analysis accurately.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Mandarin Chinese proficiency is highly preferred

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
