Full Job Description

CNC Machinist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Newark, DE.

The Big Picture – Top Skills Should You Possess:

CNC Machinist with 2-5 years of experience machine shop experience
Proficient in setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills, especially those with Fanuc style controllers
Paying $22 - $26 per hour; depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC and manual equipment, including lathes, grinders, and milling machines, ensuring quality conformance with standard operating procedures.
Tool and Process Management: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and establish machine settings based on material type and desired outcomes. Manage machining factors such as speed, feed rates, and cutting angles.
Quality Control: Perform checks to ensure dimensions and surface finishes meet specifications. Utilize precision gauges and troubleshoot any malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

CNC Machinist with 2-5 years of experience machine shop experience
Proficient in setup and operation of CNC lathes and mills, especially those with Fanuc style controllers
