Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Revenue Coordinator to support both the financial and business development functions of our organization. This position combines accounts receivable, billing, collections, revenue tracking, and lead generation to help strengthen cash flow while identifying new opportunities for business growth.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with financial information, following up on outstanding balances, communicating with customers and referral sources, researching prospective clients, and maintaining an active pipeline of new business opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a role that combines finance, customer communication, sales support, and business development.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable & Collections

Manage and monitor accounts receivable (A/R) balances and aging reports.
Follow up consistently on outstanding invoices and past-due accounts.
Contact customers, clients, or other responsible parties regarding balances and payment status.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, unapplied payments, and account issues.
Post and apply payments accurately to customer accounts.
Maintain detailed documentation of collection activity, payment arrangements, and follow-up efforts.
Assist with account reconciliations and ensure A/R records remain accurate and current.
Escalate significantly past-due or problematic accounts to management when appropriate.
Help reduce outstanding A/R and improve the organization's overall collection cycle.

Billing & Revenue Coordination

Prepare, review, and process invoices accurately and on schedule.
Verify billing information, rates, services, and supporting documentation.
Identify billing errors or missing information and coordinate corrections with the appropriate departments.
Track billed and unbilled revenue and assist with resolving discrepancies.
Monitor revenue activity to ensure services provided are properly captured and billed.
Assist with month-end revenue and accounts receivable reconciliation.
Prepare billing, collection, revenue, and A/R reports for management.
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.

Lead Generation & Business Development

Identify and research potential clients, referral sources, strategic partners, and new business opportunities.
Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, online research, and other approved outreach methods.
Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
Make introductory calls to prospective clients and referral partners to generate interest in company services.
Follow up with prospective clients and referral sources to maintain engagement and move opportunities forward.
Schedule introductory calls, meetings, or consultations for management or the appropriate team members.
Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, conversations, follow-up dates, and opportunities in the company's CRM or tracking system.
Re-engage previous prospects and inactive accounts when appropriate.
Research organizations and markets that may benefit from the company's services.
Support outreach campaigns and other business development initiatives.
Track lead generation activity and report on outreach, responses, appointments, conversions, and other key performance indicators.
Work with management to identify opportunities to increase revenue from both new and existing relationships.

Customer & Internal Support

Respond promptly and professionally to billing, payment, and account questions.
Build positive relationships with customers, prospects, and referral sources.
Work closely with operations, finance, customer service, and management to resolve account issues and support revenue growth.
Communicate account balances, invoice details, services, and payment requirements clearly and professionally.
Help identify recurring billing, collection, or lead-generation challenges and recommend process improvements.
Maintain confidentiality when handling customer, prospect, and financial information.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, sales, lead generation, customer service, business development, or administrative support preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills and confidence making outbound calls.
Professional and persistent approach to both collections and sales follow-up.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to independently follow issues and opportunities through to resolution.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CRM systems, accounting software, billing systems, and financial reports.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office preferred.
Ability to manage multiple accounts, leads, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
