Senior Marketing Manager – Growth, Brand & Digital Strategy
Austin Plastic Surgeon | Austin, TX Full-Time | In-Person | Austin, Texas
We don't need someone to give us more ideas. We need someone who can help us get great ideas across the finish line.
Austin Plastic Surgeon is looking for an experienced, highly organized and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to quarterback the marketing efforts of our growing aesthetic practice.
We've built our brand by being willing to do things differently.
From social media and digital marketing to emerging technologies, AI, patient education and new aesthetic treatments, we've consistently tried to stay ahead of where the industry is going.
As we've grown, so have the opportunities.
We have multiple providers, multiple locations, content creators, advertising partners, website partners, industry relationships, events, social media channels, CRM workflows and new projects constantly moving.
What we're looking for now is the person who can connect all of those pieces and drive them forward.
This isn't a position where you'll spend your day personally managing Google or Meta ads.
We already have partners for many of those functions.
Your job is to quarterback the entire marketing ecosystem, make sure everyone is moving in the same direction, and hold both our internal team and outside partners accountable for results.
What You'll Own: Marketing Strategy & Execution
You will work closely with ownership and leadership to turn marketing ideas and business objectives into actionable plans.
That means taking something from:
"We should do this…"
to:
"It's done. Here's how it performed. Here's what we learned. Here's what we're doing next."
You'll help prioritize initiatives, establish timelines, coordinate the people involved, remove roadblocks and make sure projects actually reach the finish line.
We need someone with a strong sense of urgency who doesn't let great ideas die in an inbox or meeting.
Social Media & Content Oversight
Social media is a major part of our brand.
You won't necessarily be responsible for filming and editing every piece of content—we have content creators for that—but you will help oversee the strategy and execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and organizing our social media content team
- Ensuring content is being created consistently across providers and service lines
- Helping establish content goals and priorities
- Making sure content is appropriately distributed among providers
- Tracking what content performs and using that information to guide future strategy
- Identifying gaps and opportunities
- Keeping projects organized and moving
- Maintaining brand consistency while allowing each provider's personality to come through
- Understanding Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat and emerging platforms
We want someone who understands that social media isn't just about followers. It's about attention, education, trust and ultimately creating meaningful patient relationships.
Digital Marketing & Lead Performance
We work with outside partners who manage our paid advertising across Meta and Google.
You don't need to personally build every campaign.
You do need to understand digital marketing well enough to evaluate performance, ask the right questions and hold our partners accountable.
You will help us understand:
- Where our leads are coming from
- Cost per lead
- Lead quality
- Consultation conversion
- Patient acquisition
- Campaign performance
- Provider and procedure trends
- What's working
- What's not
- Where we should invest more
- Where we should stop spending
We want someone who can look beyond clicks and impressions and connect marketing activity to what is actually happening inside the practice.
Reporting, Analytics & KPIs
If you don't like data, this probably isn't the position for you.
We want someone who can turn marketing activity into information our leadership team can actually use.
You will build and maintain monthly marketing reports and dashboards around key performance indicators.
You'll work with our internal team and outside partners to analyze trends, identify problems and recommend opportunities.
We want to be able to answer:
What did we spend? What did we get? What changed? Why did it change? And what are we doing about it?
CRM, Lead Nurture & AI
This is an increasingly important part of our marketing strategy.
We're actively building and improving CRM workflows, lead nurturing systems and AI-powered patient communication.
Experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM platforms is highly desirable.
You will help:
- Evaluate lead flow through the CRM
- Identify gaps or lost opportunities
- Improve lead nurture workflows
- Coordinate CRM changes with our technology partners
- Work with our AI lead-engagement partners
- Evaluate response and conversion performance
- Make sure leads are moving appropriately through the patient journey
- Work with our website and digital partners to improve integrations
- Help connect marketing data with actual patient outcomes
Experience with AI agents, marketing automation, AI-assisted workflows or AI search is a significant plus.
You don't need to be an engineer.
You do need to be curious enough to understand where marketing is going and motivated enough to help us get there.
Website, Search & AI Search
You'll serve as a primary point of contact with our website and digital partners.
That includes helping coordinate:
- Website updates
- Landing pages
- SEO initiatives
- Conversion optimization
- Content strategy
- Tracking and analytics
- Emerging AI search strategies
Traditional Google search is changing quickly. We want someone interested in understanding how patients will discover providers through Google, social platforms and AI-driven search over the next several years.
Industry Partnerships, Promotions & Events
We work with numerous companies and industry partners throughout aesthetics.
When an opportunity comes through the door, we need someone who can own it.
That might mean:
- Coordinating an industry promotion
- Planning a patient event
- Launching a new treatment
- Organizing a provider collaboration
- Creating a monthly special
- Developing a premium patient package
- Coordinating gifts or patient experiences
- Helping execute an educational event
- Managing a co-marketing opportunity with an industry partner
You will become the go-to marketing contact who can coordinate the people involved and move the project from conversation to completion.
Internal Marketing
Some of our best marketing opportunities start inside the practice.
You'll communicate regularly with our providers, patient coordinators, front desk, medspa, wellness team and leadership.
We want you asking:
What are patients asking about?
What are people excited about?
Which leads are great? Which aren't?
What treatments aren't getting enough attention?
What are patients saying yes to?
What are they saying no to?
Then use that information to help shape our marketing strategy.
You'll also coordinate:
- Monthly newsletters
- Monthly promotions
- Internal marketing campaigns
- New treatment launches
- Patient education initiatives
- In-office collateral
- Provider-specific initiatives
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Extremely organized
- Self-motivated
- Accountable
- Data-driven
- Creative
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- An excellent communicator
- Comfortable working directly with physicians and leadership
- Able to manage outside agencies and vendors
- Comfortable holding people accountable
- Able to work independently without waiting for constant direction
- Naturally curious about marketing, technology and consumer behavior
- Comfortable making decisions
- Willing to challenge an idea when the data doesn't support it
- Someone who has a genuine sense of urgency
Most importantly, you are a finisher.
You're the person who keeps the project moving after everyone leaves the meeting.
Experience We're Looking For
Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably with experience managing multiple channels, vendors or team members.
Experience in any of the following is particularly valuable:
- Healthcare
- Plastic surgery
- Medical aesthetics
- Medspa
- Beauty
- Wellness
- Luxury consumer brands
- Hospitality
- Multi-location businesses
- High-end consumer services

Experience with the following is highly desirable:
- GoHighLevel or comparable CRM platforms
- Marketing automation
- Google Analytics/reporting platforms
- Meta advertising analytics
- Google Ads analytics
- RealSelf
- Social media analytics

If you're someone who loves turning ideas into action, building systems, analyzing results and seeing projects cross the finish line, we'd love to meet you.
