The Role: Front of House Manager

Giorgios Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven Front of House Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations at one of our Wilmington concepts. This role is ideal for a natural leader who is passionate about guest experience, team development, and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Recommended Experience

Minimum 2 years of front-of-house management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Fine dining or upscale casual experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of POS systems, reservation platforms, and basic scheduling/labor management

Expectations

Lead by example, setting the tone for warm, attentive, and professional guest service
Maintain composure and sound judgment during high-volume, fast-paced service
Uphold and reinforce GHG's hospitality standards and brand expectations consistently
Be a visible, hands-on presence on the floor throughout service
Communicate effectively across front-of-house, kitchen, and ownership/leadership teams
Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture

General Responsibilities

Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including opening/closing procedures and floor management
Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff
Monitor service flow and guest satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly and professionally
Manage reservations, seating, and table turns to optimize guest experience and revenue
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and NC ABC alcohol service regulations
Assist with labor cost management, scheduling, and payroll coordination
Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate specials, promotions, and service priorities
Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless coordination between front- and back-of-house
Track and report on service metrics, guest feedback, and team performance
Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives for front-of-house staff
Uphold cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the dining room and bar

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $55,000–$65,000, based on experience
