Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the driving force behind accurate project cost assessments, ensuring bids are competitive yet profitable. Your expertise will help shape successful projects from initial concept through completion, contributing to the growth and reputation of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your estimating skills in a fast-paced environment, working closely with project managers and clients, to deliver exceptional results.

Starting salary: $50,000 to $75,000 (Plus depending on experience)

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for assisting National Accounts in the development and maintenance of all estimating systems- both software and process flows, and communicating changes/updates to other departments.
Responsible for assisting production managers, project designers, and installation teams in developing construction criteria, value engineering, and costs for signage programs.
Responsible for assisting the executive team and Team Leaders in researching and correcting perceived low profit margin accounts.
Responsible for communicating major price changes to leadership group for further evaluation of production methods and procedures.
Responsible for assisting procurement and production teams in the redevelopment of current products to improve the product and reduce costs.
Responsible for giving the leadership team a detailed description of signage quoted as well as listing deviations to the customer's specifications and any potential problems that may arise.
Responsible for returning quotations to national accounts in a timely fashion.
Responsible for making suggestions on any improvements that will increase the efficiency and accuracy of the department.
Assisting national accounts with technical support regarding the manufacturing of sign products and installations.

Qualifications

Requirements for this position:

Technical Degree or related field experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of basic metal working and assembly is a plus, but not required
Leadership skills
Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and overall pride in the quality of work.
Ability to problem solve, create detailed and efficient processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and advanced Excel knowledge
40+ hours per week

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
