CNC Mill Machinist/Operator Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist/Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating CNC milling machines. CNC programming skill a plus. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a CNC Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in fabricating precision components that meet our high standards.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in machining processes.
Assemble components as needed, ensuring proper fit and function.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in machining, specifically with CNC Mill machines.
Familiarity with logic controllers and CAM programming is preferred.
Strong understanding of basic math concepts for accurate measurements and calculations.
Experience with CAD software for interpreting designs is highly desirable.
Ability to fabricate parts with precision while adhering to strict quality standards.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
