Job Title: Cooks for Ala Carte and Banquets

Location: Woodway Country Club, Darien, Connecticut

Position Overview:

As a Line Cook, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality dining experiences to our members and guests. From à la carte dining to banquet events, you will be responsible for preparing exceptional dishes in a fast-paced and collaborative kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare, cook, and plate dishes for daily service and special events.

· Ensure consistent quality, flavor, and presentation of all menu items.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workstation in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

· Collaborate with the culinary team to meet service demands during peak hours.

· Follow established recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines.

· Assist with kitchen prep, inventory rotation, and end-of-day breakdown.

Candidate Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume, upscale kitchens (country clubs, fine dining restaurants, or hotels preferred).

· Proficiency in a range of cooking techniques with a strong understanding of kitchen operations.

· Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

· ServSafe certification (preferred) and solid knowledge of food safety protocols.

· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check.
