Berkeley Craftsmen GCI | East Bay (Berkeley + 5–10 mile radius)

Compensation: $110,000–$140,000 + 401(k), healthcare, PTO

The Role

You will lead residential construction projects from preconstruction through completion—owning schedule, budget, and client experience.

This is a leadership role requiring independence, organization, and strong communication.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership
* Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
* Interpret architectural drawings, details, and specifications
* Anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems

Scheduling & Coordination
* Build and maintain detailed construction schedules
* Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries

Budget & Cost Control
* Track budgets and maintain target margins
* Oversee procurement and material flow

Change Order Management
* Promptly prepare and manage change orders from pricing through approval
* Ensure all work is properly authorized before proceeding

Communication
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and design teams
* Maintain clear, consistent communication across all stakeholders

Quality Control
* Ensure all work aligns with design intent and company standards

Team Leadership
* Support and direct field staff and subcontractors
* Maintain a professional, organized, and positive jobsite

* Buildertrend (daily logs + project financials + change orders)
