Plumbing Sales Estimator

Position Summary

The Plumbing Sales Estimator is responsible for meeting with homeowners and business owners, identifying plumbing needs, preparing accurate estimates, and presenting Good, Better, Best solutions that allow customers to make informed decisions.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, strong plumbing knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with residential customers to evaluate plumbing repair and replacement needs.
Prepare accurate estimates using ServiceTitan.
Present Good, Better, Best options that educate customers and maximize value.
Build customer confidence through professionalism and technical expertise.
Close sales while maintaining a consultative, customer-first approach.
Follow up on unsold estimates to improve conversion rates.
Promote company memberships and explain their long-term value.
Coordinate with dispatch, technicians, and management to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain accurate notes, job documentation, and customer communications within ServiceTitan.
Review job scopes for completeness and profitability.
Identify opportunities for additional services or whole-home plumbing solutions.
Maintain a strong understanding of company pricing, products, and industry best practices.
Represent Stahl Plumbing, Heating & Air with integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing experience preferred.
Previous estimating or plumbing sales experience required
ServiceTitan experience preferred.
Strong understanding of residential and commercial plumbing systems and repair methods.
Excellent customer communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to build rapport and close sales.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to learn new technology and adapt to evolving business processes.
