Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Back Server and Food Runner, where your energy and dedication will elevate the dining experience for every guest. In this dynamic role, you will serve delicious food with enthusiasm, ensure timely delivery from kitchen to table, and maintain a clean, organized environment. Your proactive attitude will help create memorable moments for our guests while supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant. Responsibilities

Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly, ensuring food quality and presentation are maintained.
Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables efficiently to prepare for new guests.
Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays, supplies, and cleaning equipment following safe lifting practices.
Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by cleaning tables, sweeping floors, and managing waste disposal to uphold health standards.
Support food safety protocols by handling food properly during service and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Micros POS to coordinate orders and service flow.
Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Experience

Previous food service experience is preferred, especially in restaurant or hospitality settings.
Familiarity with food handling procedures and basic kitchen operations enhances your ability to perform effectively in this role.
Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous for order accuracy and efficient service.
Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and engaging with guests confidently.
Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling while maintaining safe lifting practices is required.
Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices helps ensure compliance and guest satisfaction.
A background in guest services or hospitality demonstrates your commitment to creating welcoming environments for all visitors.
