Position Overview

Serenelle Living is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly organized Caregiver / Companion Care Provider in Ocala/Gainseville.

This role operates under our hub-and-spoke care model.

What does that mean?

Your home serves as your professional hub, while the clients you support are the spokes.

You will travel from your home to multiple client homes/facilities within your service radius during scheduled shifts, rather than reporting to a central office every day.

This role is ideal for someone who is:

Self-motivated
Comfortable working independently
Excellent at time management
Warm and relationship-oriented
Able to adapt to changing client needs

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

Non-Medical Care Support

Companionship and emotional support
Safety supervision
Mobility assistance / standby assist
Medication reminders
Assistance with routines and daily structure
Wellness check-ins

Household Support

We strongly prefer candidates with experience in:

Laundry
Linen changes
Light housekeeping
Dishwashing
Organizing living spaces
Basic meal preparation
Maintaining a clean and safe environment

Pet-Friendly Requirement

Many of our clients have beloved pets.

Candidates must be comfortable around animals, including:

Dogs
Cats
Birds
Small companion pets

Bonus if you are comfortable assisting with:

Feeding pets
Water refills
Brief walks / potty breaks
Basic pet companionship

Applicants with pet allergies or fear of animals may not be the best fit for this role.

Dementia experience
Fall prevention knowledge
Experience with mobility assistance
