About Us

At The Learning Experience, we believe in making a positive difference in the lives of children, families, and our team members every day. We are seeking an energetic, growth-minded Center Director who is passionate about early childhood education and excited to build strong enrollment, community partnerships, and an exceptional family experience.

This is not a traditional childcare leadership role. We are looking for a leader who understands that enrollment growth, family engagement, and community presence are critical to a center's success.

Enrollment and Marketing Experience REQUIRED

Position Summary

The Center Director is responsible for the overall success of the center, including enrollment growth, family retention, team leadership, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder who enjoys networking in the community, converting tours into enrollments, coaching teams, and creating an outstanding experience for every family.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnrollment & Family Experience

Lead all enrollment efforts and drive achievement of monthly enrollment goals.
Conduct engaging center tours that showcase the value of our programs.
Follow up consistently with prospective families to convert leads into enrollments.
Monitor enrollment trends and develop action plans to increase occupancy.
Create an exceptional onboarding experience for new families.
Build strong relationships with current families to support retention and referrals.

Marketing & Community Outreach

Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to increase awareness and enrollment.
Build partnerships with local businesses, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
Represent the center at community events, family festivals, and networking opportunities.
Coordinate open houses, family events, and enrollment campaigns.
Collaborate with company leadership on digital marketing, social media, and promotional initiatives.
Identify creative opportunities to increase visibility within the community.

Leadership & Team Development

Recruit, hire, train, and develop high-performing team members.
Foster a positive, professional, and accountable culture.
Coach and support teachers to ensure excellence in the classroom.
Conduct regular observations, feedback sessions, and performance conversations.
Lead by example and maintain high standards for customer service and professionalism.

Operations & Compliance

Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and company standards.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiency.
Monitor center performance metrics and implement improvement plans as needed.
Partner with regional leadership to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in childcare, education, retail management, hospitality, sales, or a related field.
Strong background in customer service, enrollment, sales, or business development preferred.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to lead teams and drive results.
Experience with community outreach, marketing, or business development is highly desirable.
Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
