Sales Executive – International Freight Transport, Inc.

Location: Ogden, Utah

International Freight Transport, Inc. (IFT), established in 1986 and with over 40 years in business, is a trusted provider of worldwide ocean services. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team in the Ogden, Utah area. Training and orientation will be provided at our designated company location.

If you are a self-starter with a passion for developing new business, building long-term client relationships, and exceeding sales goals, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Identify customer needs and recommend customized international freight solutions.
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
Identifying opportunities to grow existing business.
Follow up promptly on leads and customer inquiries.
Coordinate client meetings, presentations, proposals, and ongoing communication.
Work collaboratively with operations and strategic business partners to ensure exceptional customer service.
Resolve client concerns professionally and efficiently.
Identify new markets and business opportunities within your assigned territory.
Maintain accurate sales records and activity using company systems.
Travel within the assigned territory to meet with prospective and existing clients.

Qualifications

Experience in B2B sales, preferably within freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or a related industry.
Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and close new business.
Experience managing a book of business and growing customer accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Goal-oriented with a proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to travel domestically as needed.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
