Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front of House Dining Supervisor to oversee weekend dining operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. This role is perfect for a motivated leader passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, managing staff, and ensuring smooth restaurant flow. As a key team member, you will supervise daily front-of-house activities, coordinate team efforts, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and guest satisfaction. Your enthusiasm and management skills will help create memorable dining experiences that keep guests coming back.

Responsibilities

Supervise front-of-house staff during weekend shifts, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, payments, and inventory tracking.
Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile registers at shift end.
Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies; assist with stock control and ordering to prevent shortages or waste.
Train new team members on service protocols, food safety procedures, POS operation, and customer service excellence.
Enforce food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health codes.
Support kitchen management by coordinating between front-of-house and kitchen staff to optimize workflow.
Assist with shift management tasks including scheduling, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining a positive team environment.
Contribute to profit and loss analysis by monitoring sales performance and controlling costs.
Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Experience

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, serving, or hospitality management.
Prior supervisory or managerial experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient transaction processing.
Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, cash handling, and food safety protocols effectively.
Experience in team training, staff development, interviewing candidates, and managing hospitality teams is preferred.
Strong knowledge of restaurant management practices including shift management, budgeting, and profit analysis.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently while maintaining high customer service standards.
Basic math skills for cash reconciliation and sales reporting are required.
