Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Front Office Manager, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the smooth operation of our dental practice. In this vital role, you will oversee daily administrative functions, manage patient interactions, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Your expertise in medical office management and familiarity with dental practice workflows will be essential to fostering a welcoming environment while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the overall success of our dental clinic.

Duties

Supervise front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and billing processes using dental-specific EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, billing, insurance claims processing, and collections to ensure fiscal health.
Oversee human resources functions such as staff scheduling, performance evaluations, training, and compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Coordinate with clinical staff to streamline patient flow and ensure accurate documentation of medical records and dental charts.
Monitor practice performance metrics, implement process improvements, and uphold standards aligned with JCAHO accreditation requirements.
Handle patient inquiries, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support patient education on treatment plans and financial options.
Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology related to dental care, acute care procedures, and managed care policies to facilitate effective communication within the practice.

Skills

Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management with strong supervisory capabilities.
Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic for managing medical records and billing.
Solid knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology related to dentistry, and medical administrative support procedures.
Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and managing accounts receivable/payable.
Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Familiarity with medical office workflows involving EMR/EHR systems and hospital or clinic experience is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
