Full Job Description

Auroral is more than a spa, it's an escape. Inspired by tropical destinations and designed to bring Vacation Vibes. Ohio Roots. to our community, we're creating a one-of-a-kind destination where guests can relax, recharge, and indulge in beauty and wellness experiences.

We're looking for a creative, organized, and enthusiastic Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help bring our brand to life online and in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business from the ground up and play a key role in shaping its growth.

Responsibilities

Create engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other social platforms
Capture photos and videos of the spa, services, staff, events, and behind-the-scenes moments
Edit short-form videos and Reels using platforms like CapCut, Canva, or similar software
Plan and schedule weekly social media content
Write engaging captions that reflect the Auroral brand voice
Respond to social media comments and messages as needed
Develop promotional campaigns and seasonal marketing ideas
Coordinate giveaways, contests, and community events
Build relationships with local businesses, influencers, universities, and community partners
Assist with email marketing and promotional materials
Monitor social media analytics and recommend ways to grow engagement and reach

Growth Opportunity

This role begins as a part-time position focused primarily on content creation and social media marketing. As Auroral grows, there is an opportunity for this position to expand into a full time marketing and business development role with increased hours and responsibilities.

Future responsibilities may include:

Planning and hosting spa events
Coordinating private parties such as bachelorette celebrations, birthdays, bridal parties, girls' nights, and corporate wellness events
Building partnerships with local businesses and organizations
Sales outreach to grow memberships and recurring clientele
Developing referral programs and community collaborations
Representing Auroral at networking events and local festivals
Helping shape the overall marketing strategy and continued growth of the business

We're Looking For Someone Who...

Has experience managing social media for a business or personal brand
Enjoys photography, videography, and creating engaging content
Is comfortable using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar editing software
Has excellent communication and writing skills
Is organized, self-motivated, dependable, and creative
Loves beauty, wellness, hospitality, or lifestyle brands
Enjoys meeting new people and building relationships within the community
Wants to grow with a new business and make a meaningful impact

Preferred Qualifications

Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or related education or experience
Experience growing social media accounts
Experience planning events or community outreach is a plus
Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required
