About the Position
Right at Home is looking for a Caregiver Recruiting & Employee Services Coordinator to join our team and help us recruit and onboard exceptional caregivers and CNAs.
This is a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting and onboarding position. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to applicants quickly, conduct initial screening interviews, move qualified candidates through the hiring process, and make sure all required documentation and onboarding steps are completed accurately and efficiently.
Speed matters in this position.
When a caregiver applies, we want to be the first company to contact them — not tomorrow, not later this week, but as quickly as possible.
Our goal is simple:
Respond quickly. Interview quickly. Hire quickly. Get great caregivers working quickly.
If you are highly organized, comfortable making a large number of phone calls, persistent with follow-up, and enjoy getting things done quickly and efficiently, this may be a great fit for you.
What You'll Do: Recruit & Respond
- Monitor new caregiver and CNA applicants and respond to applicants promptly.
- Make a high volume of outbound phone calls, texts, and other recruiting communications.
- Contact applicants who express interest and encourage qualified candidates to move forward.
- Conduct initial applicant screening and short phone interviews.
- Clearly explain the position, expectations, schedule, pay, and hiring process to prospective caregivers.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with applicants throughout the recruiting process.
- Re-engage applicants who have expressed interest but have not yet completed the next step.
- Help maintain an active pipeline of qualified caregiver candidates.
Move Candidates Through the Hiring Process
- Schedule interviews and onboarding appointments quickly.
- Coordinate with the appropriate team members to keep candidates moving forward.
- Collect, review, and organize required employment and onboarding documentation.
- Follow up persistently when applicants have incomplete paperwork or outstanding requirements.
- Ensure required forms, acknowledgments, screenings, and other onboarding requirements are completed accurately.
- Keep applicant records current and organized within company systems.
- Identify bottlenecks in the hiring process and take action to keep candidates moving.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the process so they always know what their next step is.
Onboard New Caregivers
- Guide newly hired caregivers through the onboarding process from offer through readiness to work.
- Help ensure new employees understand company expectations, policies, procedures, and next steps.
- Coordinate required onboarding activities and documentation.
- Work closely with the scheduling and office teams to help transition newly hired caregivers into the active caregiver workforce.
- Help ensure new caregivers are ready to accept assignments as quickly as possible once all requirements have been completed.
Maintain a Strong Recruiting Pipeline
- Keep an active pipeline of potential caregivers and CNA candidates.
- Follow up with previous applicants and qualified candidates who may be available for future opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting response rates, applicant conversion, and time-to-hire.
- Track recruiting activity and hiring progress.
- Help identify recurring obstacles that cause applicants to drop out of the hiring process.
- Continuously look for ways to make the recruiting and onboarding process faster, easier, and more effective.
Employee Records & Compliance
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date employee records throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Monitor employee files for required documentation, certifications, licenses, training, and other employment records.
- Track expiration dates and proactively communicate with employees regarding required renewals and updated documentation.
- Follow up consistently with employees who have incomplete, missing, or expired documentation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee communications, training, performance concerns, and other employment-related matters as directed by company policy.
- Monitor completion of required continuing education and training and follow up with employees who are not current.
- Help ensure employee and office practices remain compliant with applicable state requirements and company policies.
- Escalate compliance concerns or significant employee issues to management promptly.
Employee Engagement, Performance & Retention
- Assist management with employee coaching, training, performance feedback, corrective action, and disciplinary documentation when appropriate and as directed.
- Help ensure employee performance and conduct issues are documented consistently and appropriately.
- Assist with employee engagement and recognition activities designed to improve employee satisfaction, connection, and retention.
- Maintain regular communication with caregivers and identify opportunities to address concerns before they result in turnover.
- Help create a positive employee experience throughout the caregiver's employment with Right at Home.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Fast-moving and responsive. You don't let applicants sit unanswered.

- Proactive. You don't wait for someone else to tell you what needs to happen next.
- Goal-oriented. You enjoy having measurable targets and seeing your numbers improve.
- Technology comfortable. You can learn and confidently use applicant tracking, scheduling, email, texting, and other software systems.
- Comfortable with repetitive work. A significant portion of this position involves making calls, following up, documenting information, and completing the same essential steps consistently and accurately.
