Full Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Transactional Legal Assistant to join its Oklahoma City office. The ideal candidate will have recent experience supporting real estate and/or commercial transactions and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment. This role provides administrative and transactional support to attorneys and paralegals and requires strong communication, proofreading, and document-management skills.

Salary: $48,000–$58,000, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and transactional support to attorneys and paralegals
Proofread, format, and prepare legal documents and correspondence
Coordinate filing schedules and assist with transaction deadlines
Communicate with clients, county clerk offices, Secretary of State offices, and other contacts
Open new files and client matters and request conflict-of-interest checks
Maintain organized electronic files and documents
Manage email, document management, and file-sharing systems
Handle confidential information with discretion
Perform other administrative and clerical duties as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of recent real estate and/or commercial transaction experience required
Excellent proofreading and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF formatting, and email
Experience with electronic document management and file-sharing systems
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
High school diploma or equivalent
