Full Job Description

Front Desk Receptionist

Women’s Health Associates is an OB/GYN medical practice, serving the greater Kansas City and Overland Park area that is committed to maintaining health and providing medical care to women throughout their adult lives. As the area’s leading all-female OB/GYN medical practice, we pride ourselves on providing our patients with the highest level of personal and professional care.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time medical front office receptionist.

What you will do:

Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate staff
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Greet patients, determine purpose of visit
Entry of copays and demographics into electronic database
Operate office equipment, such as voice mail system, Microsoft Outlook email and Microsoft Word and Excel

What you will bring:

Experience in a similar position
Prior experience or ability to learn practice’s medical software
Knowledge and prior experience with using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Demonstration of excellent customer service skills (patient communication both in person and phone calls)
Demonstration of excellent customer relations skills (patient communication both in person and phone)
Demonstration of accurate data entry skills

Nice to have:

Spanish speaking skills
