Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced dealership team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our service technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to completion. Your enthusiasm for automotive repair and excellent customer service skills will drive customer satisfaction and dealership success.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally, understanding their vehicle concerns and service needs.
Explain repair orders, estimates, and recommended services clearly and transparently.
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and communicate progress updates to customers.
Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics.
Manage service writing, auto estimating, and vehicle maintenance records accurately.
Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining integrity.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote repeat business.

Experience

Previous dealership experience or auto service management background preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes, shocks & struts, and auto body repairs.
Proven ability in upselling services and automobile sales with excellent customer service skills.
Familiarity with auto estimating software and service writing processes.
Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, and diesel engine repairs.
Experience handling cash transactions confidently while maintaining accuracy.
