Full Job Description

Community Manager - Roving

Thurston County, WA

$33-$35/Hour + Bonus Opportunities
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8AM–5PM
Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation is required
Driving between properties is required

What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee daily operations at assigned apartment communities
Support onsite teams with leasing, resident relations, and operational needs
Lead and assist leasing and maintenance staff when needed
Drive occupancy, leasing performance, and resident retention
Manage resident concerns and resolve issues professionally
Monitor rent collections, expenses, and overall property performance
Partner closely with Maintenance Supervisors to ensure property upkeep and timely unit turns
Conduct property inspections to maintain curb appeal, safety, and quality standards
Maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
Build positive relationships with residents, vendors, ownership groups, and corporate teams
Travel between communities throughout Pierce County, Thurston County and King County as needed.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of multifamily property management experience
Previous Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager experience required
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with leasing, budgeting, collections, and resident relations
Ability to adapt quickly and support multiple communities
Knowledge of Fair Housing and Washington landlord-tenant laws preferred
Proficiency with property management software
Reliable transportation and valid Washington State Driver’s License required
Candidates who may not meet every qualification but have strong experience and a great work ethic are still encouraged to apply.

Ability to walk properties, conduct inspections, and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
