Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The Line Cook/Prep Cook will play an essential part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food storage.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Handle food items with care, demonstrating excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with meal preparation and serving.
Support the dietary department by preparing specialized meals for guests with dietary restrictions.
Uphold high standards of quality in food presentation and taste.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry is required, with a focus on restaurant or fine dining settings preferred.
Culinary experience or formal training in cooking techniques is advantageous.
Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is a plus.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety protocols is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience in catering services or meal preparation for large groups is beneficial.
