Full Job Description

Position Summary

The EIT (Engineer-in-Training) recruiter is responsible for leading and supporting the talent acquisition for the Engineer in Training (EIT) program. This role is integral to sourcing & securing early-career & experienced talent for Siemens Energy Gas Services division. This position reports directly to the EIT Program Manager in Orlando, FL. This position will focus on:

Managing Full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to offer. Encompassing candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, onboarding.

Strategic candidate/stakeholder engagement requiring collaboration & communication with multiple departments including Talent Acquisition, HR, IT, & Travel Coordinators.

Support hiring campaign coordination aligned with program timelines & headcount goals. Planning hiring events, scheduling complex interviewer panels based on their availability for virtual & in person interviews.

Success in this role requires the ability to independently manage complex recruitment projects, apply advanced sourcing techniques, and effectively engage with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities | Essential Job Duties

Laise with Talent Acquisition (TA) to screen and select candidates for interviews
Primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive, high-touch experience throughout the application and interview process
Coordinate hiring events and interview panels
Assist in onboarding new EITs including ordering laptops, cell phones, ID badges
Travel to job fairs and recruiting events as needed (up to 30% travel)
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, HR, Business Administration or 3 years of work experience preferred.

Experience

3+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting. The ideal Candidate will possess significant experience in full-cycle recruiting, particularly from University & Military Recruiting
Knowledge of outage roles and the role of field engineer
Demonstrated experience managing recruitment projects & process independently in a corporate environment.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Experience with MS Teams
Ability to learn new software systems
Ability to interview and screen candidates in accordance with company values and standards

Preferred Qualifications

MHRM preferred
Experience onboarding Siemens Energy employees preferred
Experience interviewing for field engineer positions preferred
Leadership or project management experience
