Personal Injury Case Manager / Paralegal

Position Summary

As a Personal Injury Case Manager / Paralegal, you will work directly with our attorneys to manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation. You will be responsible for maintaining case files, communicating with clients, coordinating with medical providers and insurance companies, preparing legal documents, and ensuring every case progresses efficiently.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to providing outstanding client service.

Responsibilities

Manage a high-volume personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or litigation.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular case updates and exceptional customer service.
Obtain, review, and organize medical records, medical bills, insurance policies, accident reports, and other case-related documents.
Communicate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, lien holders, and opposing counsel as needed.
Draft demand packages, legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
Assist attorneys with case preparation for pre-suit and litigation matters.
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other case-related appointments.
Monitor case deadlines, statutes of limitation, and litigation calendars to ensure timely case progression.
Maintain detailed and accurate case notes using the firm's case management software.
Assist with settlement processing, client disbursements, and file closing procedures.
Handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion.
Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, Personal Injury Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar legal support role is preferred.
Experience handling personal injury cases from pre-suit through litigation is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of the personal injury claims process and civil litigation procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff.
Experience with PracticePanther case management software is preferred but not required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel) is preferred but not required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
