Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class B CDL or better Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and operating a trash truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including route driving.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Execute route driving duties, ensuring the route is driven properly and stops are picked up in order of the route sheet.
Help with emptying customers trash and operating the hydraulics of the truck.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Collaborate with office staff for route issues and/or changes.
Emptying the truck at the transfer station or landfill on a daily basis.

Requirements

Must be 25 years of age or older with proven experience as a CDL driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Valid Class B or better Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record and updated medical card.
Must be able to pass pre-hire and random drug screenings throughout employment.
Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to transportation and handling of goods.
Flexibility in working hours, including the potential for overtime as required.

Compensation

The job is guaranteed 40 hours unless you are unable to complete the route for the day or are late, Overtime is available.
There's an evaluation with a possible raise after 90 days.
Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) are available after 90 days.
You get T-shirts and hoodies after 30 days.
You get a $200 boot voucher after 30 days.
