Full Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

This professional-level Accountant / Bookkeeper works with a high degree of independence in performing accounting and financial reports. Successful performance of the work requires expert knowledge of ADP Payroll, QUICKBOOKS Enterprise , and accounting practices, and fiscal management. Responsibilities include monthly reports, revenue and expenditure accounts, the automated purchasing and financial reporting system and ADP payroll activities.

KEY DUTIES

Prepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts; prepares monthly financial statements, including distributing monthly revenue and expenditure reports to departments.
Analyzes and reconciles expenditure and revenue accounts, ADP weekly payroll.
Makes wire transfers and journal funding transfers and reconciles monthly bank statements.
Monitors revenues and expenditures, ensuring data is recorded in the company’s financial accounting system.
Calculates and prepares reimbursement billings and tracks receivables; reconciles monthly accounts receivable. Weekly Adp Payroll
Prepares and files annual financial statements for the CEO and appointed staff members
Assists with the preparation of the quarterly, annual, and mid-year budgets.
Assists with the fiscal year-end and fixed asset accounting.
Provides training in the use of the computerized financial system and assists departmental personnel with budget questions, proper expenditure coding, document processing and other accounting related activities.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Summary

In the role of QuickBooks Enterprise / Full Charge Bookkeeper you will be integral to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will utilize your core skills in general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation to manage accounts payable and receivable. Your expertise in QuickBooks and payroll processing will enhance our financial operations, while your ability to prepare financial reports will support strategic budgeting decisions. Join our team to contribute to our financial integrity and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Proficient in QuickBooks and ADP Payroll systems
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts
Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliation
Skilled in double entry bookkeeping and journal entries
Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
Familiarity with budgeting and financial report writing
Ability to manage payroll and ensure compliance with regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
