Test Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Supervisor to lead and oversee the testing operations for traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, proven leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of testing procedures. This role involves managing a team of test technicians and engineers, ensuring product quality and performance, and driving process improvements to meet production goals.

Supervision and Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of test technicians and engineers.
Ensure team adherence to safety protocols and testing procedures.
Provide technical guidance and training to team members.

Testing Operations:

Oversee the execution of TWTA testing, including RF, electrical, and thermal performance verification.
Analyze test data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product compliance with specifications.
Develop and maintain testing schedules to meet production and delivery timelines.

Process Improvement:

Continuously improve testing methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production issues.
Implement and maintain test documentation, including procedures, checklists, and test reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in testing RF/microwave systems, preferably TWTAs.
Strong understanding of RF principles, high-voltage systems, and power supplies.
Proven leadership experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., MIL-STD, ISO).
