About the Role

Village Super Market is looking for a tech-savvy Learning & Development Intern to support the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs, onboarding activities, and learning initiatives across the organization. This is a hands-on opportunity for a college student or recent graduate who is comfortable with digital tools, enjoys building creative content, and wants real experience using technology to help people learn at work.

In this role, you will work closely with the Learning & Development team and HR partners to help create engaging learning experiences, organize digital training materials, track program activity, and support projects that reach associates across our stores and corporate teams. You’ll use tools like Microsoft Office, Canva, collaboration platforms, and emerging AI-enabled resources to help make learning more accessible, modern, and useful.

What You’ll Do

Support training sessions, onboarding activities, learning events, and employee development initiatives.
Create, update, and format digital training materials, presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, communication assets, and reference documents using Canva, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other learning tools.
Help organize content in shared folders, collaboration sites, and learning resource libraries so materials are easy to find, update, and use.
Track training attendance, feedback, completions, and related reporting data; help turn information into simple, useful summaries for the team.
Support project plans, timelines, tasks, deliverables, and follow-ups to keep learning initiatives moving forward.
Research learning trends, instructional design practices, digital training tools, AI-enabled productivity tools, and employee development ideas.
Partner with HR team members, department leaders, and internal stakeholders on learning priorities and special projects.
Bring fresh ideas on how to make training more engaging, visual, mobile-friendly, and easy for associates to use.

What We’re Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Communications, Marketing, Organizational Psychology, Information Systems, Digital Media, or a related field.
Strong comfort with technology, digital tools, online collaboration, and learning new systems quickly.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Planner, or similar collaboration tools is a plus.
Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools, with the ability to create professional, clean, and visually engaging content.
Interest in training, employee development, instructional content creation, digital learning, AI-enabled productivity tools, and process improvement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make information clear, simple, and useful for different audiences.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, track timelines, coordinate deliverables, and meet deadlines.
Strong organization, attention to detail, initiative, curiosity, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Experience creating class projects, campus organization materials, social content, presentations, dashboards, training guides, or digital portfolios is a plus.
